Party with the locals without leaving the resort at the weekly day parties. On Tuesdays, Royalton Chic Cancun has a pink foam party on the 18th floor. Locals can pay to get into the day party, while guests can join for free. Cabanas and bottle service are also available at a separate cost.
Cabanas have their own jetted plunge pools, so guests can have their own bubbly party when not in the main pools. A TV, unending ice buckets, a couch, and high top bring the shaded space together. Looking around, it feels like an Instagram story, but it’s real life. The amount of gorgeous Black Americans at this party, and in Cancun as a whole, is a pleasant surprise.
A DJ, MC and an entire entourage set the tone for the wild day party. The day party blasts the latest Spanish-language and American rap, hip-hop, and R&B, played on a booming sound system. All the senses are tantalized as the views go on for days. Pink speedos and cheeky bottom swimsuits are spotted all across the pool party twerking to the hypnotic bass as people laugh and smile poolside.
At 18 floors up, the views of the ocean and lagoon go on for days, too. Take a break from the party and head up the spiral staircases to enclosed viewing areas to take in the surreal surroundings of the true blue waters.
Be sure to come back down in time for bottle service. The crew dances up to each cabana with colorful smoke billowing out of their handheld machines and pour everything from champagne to shots straight into the mouth’s of the alluring guests.
